Which application details should be shared when requesting the PowerDe PWD01 mobile steam cleaner?

When you ask an equipment maker for a quotation on a mobile steam cleaner, the difference between a useful answer and a generic price list usually comes down to what you tell the supplier. For the PowerDe PWD01, the same machine can be configured with or without a battery, and the site also lists companion models such as the PWD02 and HMW2. Before we size a proposal, here is the information we need from you, and why each item matters.

1. Where the machine will actually work

The PowerDe PWD01 steam cleaner is a mobile active-water cleaning machine, and the product information we publish positions it for indoor garages and narrow outdoor parking spaces. Tell us the space in those terms:

  • Indoor or outdoor, and whether the floor drains or holds water.
  • How far the machine has to travel from the water inlet to the washing point.
  • Door widths, ramps, steps and ceiling height, since these decide whether a driven unit or a hand-pushed unit fits.
  • Whether the site has a 220 V supply nearby, or must run without mains power.

This is also where the battery choice is settled. Every mobile model on our cleaning page is listed in two versions, one with the battery included and one without. If your team already owns batteries and chargers for another model, tell us which ones, so we can quote the bare version instead of a duplicate set.

2. What you are cleaning, item by item

The PWD01 is described with dry-steam, wet-steam and hot-water modes, and the amount of steam each job needs drives the specification. Send a short list of the actual surfaces, for example:

  • Vehicle exterior, wheels and underbody.
  • Interior upholstery, floor mats and cabin dust.
  • Engine compartments, and how heavy the oil and grease deposit is.
  • Hard surfaces such as garage floors, bins, wall panels or trolleys.

If a surface is not vehicle-related, say so plainly. The machines we list under the PowerDe cleaning equipment series are grouped by how they move and where they are used, and an application outside vehicles may point to a fixed or hand-pushed model rather than a driven one. A photo of the dirtiest item you clean tells us more than a written description.

3. Daily volume and shift pattern

Quote us in numbers you already track: how many vehicles or items are cleaned per day, how many operators, how many working hours per shift, and whether the work runs continuously or in bursts. A single-bay workshop and a multi-bay depot need different water tank capacity, different steam output and, for battery versions, different run time between charges.

Please also state what you cannot stop doing. If washing has to happen between shifts with no break for refilling or recharging, we will design around that constraint instead of asking you to change your schedule.

4. Utilities available on site

Power and water decide the shortlist faster than any other detail, so include:

  • Supply voltage available at the washing point, and whether the socket is shared with other equipment.
  • Whether the water inlet is a normal tap, and what fitting it uses.
  • Water pressure and whether supply is ever interrupted.
  • Drainage arrangements and any local rule on wastewater discharge.

Our published parameter tables record the inlet type for the models where we list it, and the fixed models such as the PowerDe HW02 steam cleaner run on a 220 V supply with a large stainless steel tank. If your site does not have that supply, we will say so before you commit to a specification.

5. Safety, training and who operates the machine

Steam and hot water are not ordinary pressure washing. Tell us the experience level of the operators, whether you have a written safe-system-of-work, and what your insurer or facilities manager requires. The battery-equipped mobile models on our site list protection against leakage, short circuit, high temperature, high voltage and water shortage, and the fixed models add high-voltage explosion protection. If your risk assessment names particular safeguards, send us that list so we can confirm what the machine does and what has to be handled in your procedure instead.

6. Purchase format and after-sales expectations

State the form of the order at the start: one machine for a trial bay, a fleet for several sites, or a build that carries your own brand. We handle customised configurations, and enquiries about customized steam cleaning equipment and OEM or ODM work are handled by the same engineering team that designs our standard machines. Please also tell us:

  • Destination country and port, and the incoterm you normally buy on.
  • Whether you need spare parts held locally, and which wear parts you expect to replace.
  • Whether operators need remote training, and in which language.
  • Any documents your import or procurement process requires.

What you should get back from us

Once we have the six items above, the reply you should expect is not a single price. It is a recommended model and configuration with the battery question settled, a written note on which of your listed surfaces the machine handles and which it does not, the utilities it needs from your site, and a spare-parts and training plan. Where a published parameter has not been confirmed, we will flag it rather than fill the gap for you.

Shenzhen PowerDe Automation Precision Equipment Co., Ltd. was established in Shenzhen in 2007 and develops, builds, integrates and supports automation and intelligent cleaning equipment. If you are specifying a machine for a garage, a depot or a service bay, send the six details above to sales@powerde.net or call +86 13023198376, and we will answer with a configuration you can put in front of your buyer.
