The PowerDe HMW3 hand-pushed steam cleaning machine is listed on our site in two configurations, and the version without a battery raises a practical question for fleet, workshop and facility buyers: can you order it, and what needs to be agreed before production starts? The short answer is yes — but because this variant is sold with no battery pack, the machine cannot run until the power source is settled. That single decision drives everything else in the quotation, so a short configuration review with our engineering team is the fastest way to get a specification you can actually commission.
What "without battery" means on the HMW3
The HMW3 is a hand-pushed, high-temperature, high-pressure machine that switches between dry steam and wet steam, with a 4.5 kW PTC semiconductor heater and a 50 L clean water tank fed from a tap supply. The machine is powered by a 48 V battery, and the working-power-supply line of the specification table applies to both configurations. In the "without battery" version we simply do not ship the battery with the unit; in the "including battery" version we do.
For a buyer, that difference is not cosmetic. The machine is designed for mobile, hand-pushed work in corridors, wards, parking areas and workshop aisles, so it relies on stored battery power rather than a trailing cable. If you choose the version without a battery, you either supply a 48 V pack locally or accept a fixed power feed, and both choices change the cable routing, the charging arrangement and the working radius. A configuration review makes that trade-off visible before you order, not after the machine arrives on a loading dock.
What to prepare before you contact us
The more of the list below you can answer in your first enquiry, the more precise our proposal will be:
- Where the machine will work — indoor only, or outdoor as well, and on what floor surfaces.
- How far it must travel between water fill points and power points.
- Whether a 48 V battery pack is already in your local supply chain, or whether you need us to include one.
- What you are cleaning — hospital beds and medical machinery, or vehicles and equipment in another setting.
- Your local mains voltage, plug type and available circuit capacity for charging or a fixed feed.
- Order quantity and delivery destination, including whether you are buying for resale or for your own operation.
- Any document set your purchasing or tender process requires.
What the configuration review covers
Our engineers check the intended use against what this model is specified for, then confirm three items with you in writing: the power arrangement (battery supplied by us, battery supplied by you, or a fixed feed), the cleaning mode you will run most often, and whether the hand-pushed format or a driving-style model from our cleaning equipment series fits the area better. The HMW3 is documented as being used for cleaning and disinfecting hospital beds and medical machinery. If your duty is vehicle exterior or engine-compartment work at a station or parking facility, a fixed high-pressure machine such as the HW02 is usually the better starting point, and we will say so rather than quote the wrong frame.
We also review the safety side with you. The HMW3 is built with leakage, short-circuit, high-temperature, high-voltage, water-shortage and high-voltage-explosion protection, and the heating element is a PTC semiconductor heater chosen for stable, fail-safe heat. Where your site rules cover electrical work near water, we will confirm which protection functions your staff need to be able to test and record, and which items belong in your routine maintenance checklist.
What is not fixed at the enquiry stage
Several figures that procurement teams normally ask for are not published on the HMW3 product page, so we do not guess them in a written proposal. Steam temperature and steam pressure, battery capacity and run time, charger output, machine weight, hose and wand lengths, the accessory list, noise level and water consumption per hour all depend on the configuration you select and must be confirmed on the quotation for that specific build. The same applies to spares availability and service terms in your country. Treat any number from a third-party listing as unverified until it appears in our written offer for your configuration.
How to request the review
Send your answers to the checklist above to the contact page on our site, or reach us directly by phone or email. Tell us which variant you are considering — HMW3 without battery, or HMW3 including battery — and what you clean. A Shenzhen-based manufacturer of intelligent cleaning equipment, we handle customized configurations as standard work, so an unusual power arrangement or accessory set is not a problem; it is simply something we need to hear about early. If the review shows that a different model serves you better, that is the answer we will give.
